CHEM 592 will provide an overview of statistical methods for the analysis of many different types of chemical data with a focus on practical computational implementation on real world data sets. This class will use MATLAB as an example of a computational platform for scientific data analysis, but the concepts discussed can be applied to other computational tools. Prior programming experience is not required. Upon completion of
this course students should be comfortable conducting analysis and visualization of arbitrary data in a computational environment.
